Bonfire

dream in autumn color
Click here for information about the photo

Bonfire

aroused and aglow in radiating incandescence
dripping down ember-reds and burnt-umbers
ardently sparking with smoldering saffrons
the trees ignite in a final fevered performance

loamy soil stages its own plentiful genesis
yielding all fat ample sensuousness
in rows of ripened fleshy succulence
fields offer up their fertile consequences

the whole world erupts to combustion
burning with flushes blushes and rusts
spectacular cinnamon and tawny blasts
before all submitting quietly to gray decay
for Grandma

Bonfire, a fun event to remember, love the insights behind it.
